Suntory Beverage & Food is reintroducing its Ribena Winter Spice drink to major UK grocery stores from September through January. The limited edition product blends Ribena’s blackcurrant flavor with festive spices, creating a seasonal variation of the classic drink.

The beverage contains 100 per cent of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C in each 250ml serving, which the company says supports immune function. Suntory is positioning the item to meet growing consumer demand for alcohol-free options during seasonal occasions.
Research from KAM indicates that 84 per cent of British adults cite health reasons as a primary factor for moderation, reflecting a broader rise in no/low alcohol consumption. The company hopes the drink will provide a sales boost to the squash category during the colder months.

Retail Availability and Pricing
Head of marketing Sarah Fleetwood described the return of the drink. “Ribena Winter Spice is back once again and brings a seasonal twist to the Ribena blackcurrant taste shoppers already know and love,” she stated. “More importantly for retailers, it has a proven track record of delivering incremental sales to the squash category and bringing festive cheer to the aisle.”
The Ribena Winter Spice will be available in an 850ml squash format with a recommended retail price of £2.25.
