Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has expanded its 500ml Supercan range to include Sprite, Fanta Orange, and Dr Pepper, making them available nationwide in the larger single-serve can format. The move follows the launch of the range earlier this year, which already included Coca-Cola Original, Coca-Cola zero sugar, and Diet Coke.
The new variants aim to boost sales from the chiller aisle by offering retailers additional options alongside existing single-serve formats. Each can features a distinct brand identity, with Sprite introducing a Super Fan Edition x NBA design, Fanta Orange launching a Super Fanta Edition, and Dr Pepper incorporating its Try More Weird branding.
Rob Yeomans, VP of commercial development at CCEP GB, said: “When we launched Supercan earlier this year, we saw a real opportunity to add something new to immediate consumption and create incremental growth for our customers. The early performance has given us confidence in the format, and we think there’s plenty more potential to unlock.”
Yeomans added that retailers should focus on chilled availability, as cold drinks drive sales. The company will provide free point-of-sale (POS) materials to help retailers advertise the range and improve shelf visibility.
The three new variants are now available as individual 500ml cans, priced at £1.90 each. The expansion reinforces CCEP’s strategy of offering multiple formats to cater to different shopper preferences and occasions.

Retailers have been advised that the Supercan format is not meant to replace bottles but to complement existing single-serve options. The company’s approach aligns with consumer trends favoring convenience and immediate consumption.
While the initial launch of Supercan focused on core brands, the addition of Sprite, Fanta Orange, and Dr Pepper broadens the range’s appeal. The move suggests CCEP is betting on the format’s ability to drive incremental sales beyond its established single-serve lines.
Supercans will continue to rely on chilled distribution, a key factor in their success. The free marketing materials, including in-store displays, aim to help retailers highlight the new options and encourage trial among shoppers.
This expansion follows a period of strong early performance for the Supercan format. The company’s confidence in the format suggests it sees long-term potential in larger single-serve cans, particularly in convenience-driven shopping scenarios.
