In a UK first, Ocado now stocks the full Nectar & Nature line of French wines with naturally lower alcohol levels. The retailer has introduced the brand’s White and Red varieties, complementing the existing Rosé already on offer.
The new White, produced in IGP Côtes de Gascogne, has an ABV of 9.5 per cent, while the Red, from IGP Pays d’Oc, sits at 10.5 per cent ABV. The existing IGP Méditerranée Rosé is also 10.5 per cent ABV.
Nectar & Nature said the expansion was designed to meet ‘growing consumer interest’ in moderating alcohol intake without moving away from wine altogether. The company cited IWSR research suggesting shoppers are increasingly switching between full-strength and low- and no-alcohol drinks depending on the occasion.

The three-strong collection spans wine regions across the South of France, with the White sourced from Gascony, the Rosé from the Mediterranean coast and the Red from the Languedoc. Ocado wine buyer Adam Bosset said: “Customers increasingly want greater choice in how they enjoy wine, and naturally lower-alcohol styles are an exciting part of that.

Adam Bosset added: “What we particularly like about Nectar & Nature is that it offers that choice across a complete collection, rather than a single bottle or style. We’re delighted to be the first UK retailer to offer all three wines, giving customers the option of a naturally lighter white, rosé or red while still enjoying the character and provenance of French wine.”
Guillaume Joncheray, Les Grands Chais de France expert for innovative and alternative products, noted that naturally lower-alcohol wine ranges were still often limited to a single style or grape variety. “With the addition of the new White and Red alongside Nectar & Nature Rosé, we can offer retailers a coherent three-colour collection that gives consumers more choice across different occasions,” he said.

The full Nectar & Nature collection is available from Ocado, with RRPs starting at £7.50. The Rosé also remains available at Morrisons.
